Review: Wingstop PH

I am in love with Chicken Wings!

Obviously, I had to try Wingstop. This is the latest chicken wings place in Eastwood.

Let’s get right to it, okay?

Ambience: It has this industrial feel to it. You know, steel type chairs and tables. This kind of seating is my least favorite because it can get uncomfortable fast. They have this cool graffiti style writings on their wall which catches your eyes easily. It does make you wonder which flavor from their menu is the best.

Food/Drinks: We ordered the 7 pieces in two flavors for 325php. For the flavors, we decided to have the – Louisiana Rub and Hickory Smoked BBQ.

Here’s a close-up photo of the Louisiana Rub, with better lighting:

We added Chipotle rice for 45php to our meal.

Let me tell you. That was the best tasting chicken wings I have ever had!!! I preferred the Louisiana Rub over the Hickory Smoked BBQ because of its unusual and oh-my-goodness amazing spices. That cayenne and garlic rub all over the chicken was drool worthy and every bite was both tasty and spicy.

It was my first time to eat Chipotle rice so I can’t really compare it with anything else, but all you need to know is that rice just perfectly complimented the wings, for both flavors. I almost ordered another cup just because it was so good. Good thing I didn’t. 😉

Here’s their menu if you want to know more about what they offer.

Value: For our meal, it was priced just right. Me and Mike like sharing food and since we are on a “diet” we prefer ordering smaller portions of everything. They do have combo meals which are priced reasonably as well.

Overall Rating: Good food, great wings. The only downside I have for Wingstop is  their drink selection is very limited. I refrain from drinking sodas/beers which leaves me with just sparkling iced tea which I don’t like. 🙁
