Happy Sunday everyone. I have to confess two things. First, I’m doing this on a Saturday on my work e-mail drafts since I’m on mid shift today. Second, I really missed blogging and writing down my random thoughts and tips. I feel like I have a lot to tell you, so why don’t you get that cup of coffee and sit comfortably next to me.
* * * * *
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’m feeling dizzy. Unfortunately, my vertigo is acting up again and it’s messing with me big time. I already took my medicine but it takes a couple days before the dizzy spells end completely. Any sudden movements make my world spin. I hate it. 🙁
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that this week’s work shift was the hardest week for me ever. I wake up at 5:45AM, leave our house by 6:45, arrive work by 9 and get home by 10PM. I have absolutely no time to blog or even do small things I like to do (read books/watch TV). It was so stressful and my wallet cried the whole week. Everything in the morning is too expensive!
Good thing my paycheck came in a little early and it solved everything. Also, I’m so happy and proud to say that I am successfully practicing all of those tips I shared about budgeting. I thought it would be hard but on the contrary it’s just all about practice and discipline. Hopefully I can commit to it especially now that Christmas is drawing closer.
Speaking of Christmas, I am so proud tell you that I have successfully bought 7/12 gifts for Mike. I’ll be sharing more information about it once I complete the twelve. I’m trying to stick to a budget of P200 per gift. It’s proving to be difficult but my determination is strong. I’m so excited to see his reaction! 😀
If we were having coffee, I’d ask if you remember last week’s secret project? Well my secret project is no longer a secret! The project is to sell my old books. Last week, I successfully sold my Twilight hard bound books for P1000. Looking back, I feel that the price I set was a little too cheap BUT I still feel successful. A thousand pesos is still better than four books stored in my cabinet. Still a win-win for me. I have four more books to sell so all my Filipino readers please stand by my blog/Twitter account and help me find new homes for my books. (ps. Almost all my books are in tip top condition.)
Oh and lastly, If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that Mike and I are looking for our own place. You know, for the future. *Blushes* I know right! Talk about a big step in our relationship. OH MY GOODNESS. I don’t know if it will push through or what exactly will happen BUT I am so happy that he is seriously looking for one right now. What more can a girl wish for?
Anyway that’s it. I feel thankful for this year despite all of the other bad things that happened. Cheers to staying positive.
I hope you had a great week and I would love to read about it. Post a comment!
Have a fun and safe week ahead. Until next time!
