Recipe: Asian Green Mussels

Today’s simple recipe came to life the day my mom decided to leave the house. I was extremely tired that day and just wanted to rest but life, as usual, had other plans.

Here in the Philippines we have this seafood called tahong. In English, its called Asian Green Mussels. Yes, I didn’t know what it was called in English so I had to Google it. 😛

Okay, enough ramblings.

What you’ll need:

1K of Asian Green mussels
ginger
garlic
onion
tomato

What you’ll do:

1 – Heat oil in pan
2 – Saute in this order: ginger, garlic, onion, tomato
3 – Heat for a minute or two
4 – Add in your mussels
5 – Let it cook to perfection (You’ll know its done when the mussels open)

And that’s it. A very simple and straight forward Filipino dish. I love this way of cooking mussels because you really get to enjoy it. 🙂

To keep it short and simple: I'm twenty-seven years old. Still plenty young, but not as young as I used to be.
