BloggingU, Why I Blog

Why blog?

This is the question I’ve never had one answer to.

I started blogging as a journal as I try to become healthy. I wanted to find a platform where I can be free to be who I am without judging eyes. After months of enjoying blogging and getting to know other bloggers, I found more than one reason to stay and blog.

I now blog because I like to write and also to challenge myself creatively. I blog because this community that I have gotten to know over the last eight months is the best there is. The digital interaction and support I get from people all around the world is beyond welcoming.

  2. Hello Kat!

I’ve only recently started blogging and never ever thought I would be able to do anything like this. I was worried people wouldn’t like what I say, my writing wasn’t good enough and grammar might let me down.

A friend encouraged me to write about something I enjoy, so exploring Scotland was the one. I also have lots of photos to support this, a picture paints and thousand words!

The bonus for me is if people are inspired by what I write and it encourages them to get outdoors a bit more and explore. It doesn’t need to be Scotland, it can be your own town, country.

Blogging has been more time consuming that I expected and there is so much more for me to learn, but I’m enjoying the freedom of transferring thoughts and memories to the screen!

    Have a motivational Monday!
