Let’s have coffee

Hello everyone! I feel super recharged and excited for a little coffee date! I have a lot to share, so why don’t we sit down and catch up?

* * * * *

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that my shift last week was the best. I had a fun time catching up with friends BUT I had absolutely no time to blog. I feel slightly disappointed because I really wanted to participate in Blogging 101 but completely failed at that! I was lurking today at the Daily Post site and found out that they are running the same class next month. I was happy until I saw that registration are now closed. 🙁 I was also looking forward to Writing 201 but NO MORE SLOTS. No worries, I’ll find something to do next month instead.

If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’m a little, just a teeny weensy bit pissed at Mike cause he destroyed my Leef iBridge. I lent it to him over the holidays but then it stopped working completely!! That’s 32GB of extra space for my phone and pad down the drain if I don’t get it working again. What’s worse is I’m such a complete loser when it comes to computers and I’m not even confident I can get it to work. I already e-mailed their support but so far not even their suggestions are working! How do I know if my USB is beyond repair? Does anybody now? I just can’t seem to format my Leef! And a message “Windows is unable to complete format” keeps on popping up every time I try to format it!

Oh, and I thought I’d also tell you a little update on my Dirty 30. This month, I’m just trying to make my plant survive. I put it outside under some bigger plants (not in direct sunlight) and it got healthier! YEY. But then I came home the other day and found out that our dogs played with it. So now it looks like this…

I hope it gets better.

If we were having coffee, I’d also share with you that my family and I spent a glorious weekend at Canyon Cove at Batangas. I’ll share more photos in a Review some time but here’s a little snippet to get you hyped up. This is one of the many reasons why I love living in the Philippines. 😀

And lastly, if we were having coffee, I’d share with you my frustration and confusion with Haruki Murakami’s book Kafka by the Shore. I don’t get it. What happened. I think I got some parts down but I’m still confused. I want to write a book review soon, mostly just to help me understand it. LOL.

Oh, and I would also like to thank everybody who liked/commented my simple quotes for you last week. I know it’s just a filler for the past week but thank you still. I’d love to know how you’re week went. You know the drill, drop a line!

  1. Oh! Sorry for your USB drive and I know it’s hard to have devices that have data and they are conked up. Those pictures of Philippines are beautiful. Sea, the sun and all that chilling by the beach must have been relaxing.
    You aren’t liking that book? I haven’t read it but heard so much that I wanted to buy. Now I’m a bit doubtful! Enjoyed reading your post Kat! Happy Sunday!

    • It’s just two hours from where I live! One of the many perks of living in a tropical country. 😉

  2. You life sounds you are having a great time take one day at a time and forget doing all those things. No one will care in 5 or 10 years. Your life may go a completely different way. No one knows what is going happen in the future. Your plant looks like a mess. If it were mine I tossed it and get another start. I can’t tell what kind it was. See you again

  3. So beautiful there! I miss the sun, haha. 😀 Your let’s have coffee feature is really fun! Hopefully there will be a new pot brewing soon. 🙂

    • Thank you thank you! As much as I hate the heat, I can’t live without it. You should try brewing your own pot, I’d love to read what’s going on in your neck of the woods!
