Let’s have coffee

If we were having coffee, I’d share with you about the drama I caused in the office LOL. I have this friend, let’s call her A, who copy-pasted an announcement from her boss to me. I then asked my workmates if they knew of this announcement. Among the people who I have shown it to was the boyfriend of the boss. Then all hell broke lose! *insert crazy laugh here* The boss got mad cause she thought her words were being misinterpreted. Apparently, the announcement wasn’t all true. Half of it was false and it was supposed to be a joke with her team. Soooo, basically, A thought the announcement was real and was just being kind and sharing info but unfortunately for her (and me) the boss went crazy* and got mad at A big time.

*She began talking behind friend’s A back. Even her boyfriend got pissed at friend A!

Personally I thought she was being egotistical and was just trying to save face. What? It was a very small thing that could’ve been fixed if the boss and A talked immediately but…they didn’t. There was a lot of talking behind the back involved and a lot of pass the messages. I forgot to tell you that we were all friends and this incident sucks big time. I feel guilty for causing the fire but I’m half pleased with myself because we just uncovered another false friend on the lose. It’s good to note also that they are already in good terms professionally. I don’t know about their personal relationships though. I’m sorry for causing trouble. 😂

If we were having coffee, I’d share with you the awful weather the Philippines is having right now. The season is changing from dry to wet and my goodness, the humidity is crazy. Isolated thunderstorms here and there. Traffic due to sudden floods. Ay yay yay. I hate it the most when the weather is transitioning.

If we were having coffee, I’d also tell you that I finally finished Amy Poehler’s book Yes Please. I’ll write a review some time this week and hopefully it will see the light of day soon. If you have read it, would you mind sharing with me your thoughts about it?

If we were having coffee, I’d ask if you guys still believe in mythical creatures. My mom just shared with me this creepy info about one and I hate her for it. I lost all train of thought and I’d rather watch TV right now. Sorry to cut it short. LOOL. I just hate creepy stuff.

You know the drill, drop a line and let’s chat. Bye guys!

  1. Hahaha!

      • Talaga?? Ako oo na hindi. I mean ayaw ko. Ang hirap kasi nung naniniwala ka lang sa mga bagay na hindi makita tulad ng mga aswang.

  2. I don’t do creepy stories so I’m with you for tying to distract yourself! Shame about the work stuff but glad it sorted itself out. Kinda awkward on all fronts though, eh? Haven’t read Yes Please but would love to know if you recommend it.

  3. I’m interested to hear if you liked the book “Yes Please”. I bought the book and it’s been sitting on my nightstand for weeks now.

    • I actually liked it but it’s so hard to read. Maybe cause it’s my first time to read a biography style book, but overall it was a good read 🙂

  4. Sorry for misunderstanding. Words once said cannot be unsaid. What might be funny for some is not funny to the person

  5. Kathleen Howell says

Creepy? Do tell.. (rubbing hands together..)

  6. Don’t need to believe in mythical creatures around here with Great White Sharks off the coast. Then again, there are drop bears…
