Music Mondays #39

I’ve been listening to a lot of Twenty One Pilots lately. I heard this song and thought that it sounded familiar. Guess what, it’s been out for more than a year now. Talk about my obvious disconnect with music.

Why I liked this song? Obviously it’s beat is sick and I like the lyrics-

Oh, oh, I’m falling, so I’m taking my time on my ride
Oh, I’m falling, so I’m taking my time on my ride
Taking my time on my ride

I have no clue what the song is about but I still like it.

Anyone ever heard of Twenty One Pilots? What are other songs from them would you suggest to new listeners?

I have too! I love Stressed out! However, on the way home from vacation a lot of their other songs played on Pandora. I love them!!

I don’t know if you have ever heard of or would like them, but also heard Nothing But Thieves– Trip Switch and Wake up Call. I thought it was good. But it might not be your thing. We all have different taste in music! 🙂

  3. Yep! I love their first song that I heard, “stressed out” – such a good song. I like this song too – it has this reegae beat that reminds me of Ini Kamoze’s “in the streets” 🙂

    • Ooohh, I love Hometown too! I haven’t listened to their Vessel album yet but you’re the second person to recommend a song from that album…I’ll take that as a sign to listen to it! thanks for the rec! 🙂
