To prime or not to prime, that is the question.

Primers are used before you apply your BB creams or foundations. This product is said to help even out skin tone, minimize pores and makes makeup last longer. It is also said to help create a great canvas before applying the rest of your makeup. But do we really need it?

Purpose: Clean, satin-finish formula that minimizes the appearance of shine, pores and fine lines, and creates a smooth, uniform canvas for flawless makeup application. Recommended for those with large pores and uneven skin surface. –Althea PH

I’m not too sure if I need a primer in my life. The best way to figure it out is by diving head on and just testing it! I opted to try Banila Co’s Prime Primer in Classic Matte. I ordered online and as soon as it got delivered to me, I was shocked to see how big it was! At 30 mL, this will last me at least a year! You only need at least two pumps to prime your whole face.

I still have no idea if using a primer is a must especially for beginners like me. But I will give credit where credit is due, this Prime Primer from Banila Co definitely helps me apply my makeup smoothly and helps everything last longer.

To keep it short and simple: I'm twenty-seven years old. Still plenty young, but not as young as I used to be.
