Weeks of beauty

Everyone’s perception of beauty is different. That’s what makes it beautiful. -Kat, 2017

For the past two weeks, I featured some beauty tools and products. I had fun while reviewing these products and sharing it with you guys. I’ve been addicted to skincare and makeup since last year and it’s only now that I’ve actually tried putting into words my experiences.

Using skincare products definitely helped my skin improve for the better. I highly recommend everyone to invest in them. You don’t have to go overboard and do the ten step Korean skincare, you can just invest in a good toner, moisturizer, and exfoliant to start ย off a good quality regimen. It’s not the number of products that you use, it’s the products that you use. Always choose quality products and make sure you know your skin. You don’t need to go to a dermatologist (although it’d be better if you do), Google can help you easily.

Makeup on the other hand was fun but it’s hard. There’s a lot of practicing involved and there are just too many products on the market for me to try. It’s fun but I find it a chore. I just stick to the basics daily but I still spend my downdays trying new things and see if it works for me.

The world of beauty is enormous. There’s always a new thing to try or fad to try.

But the most beautiful thing in the world is confidence and self-love. No matter how you take care of your skin or how much make-up you put on, inner beauty will always stand out.

Beauty is confidence. Aย beautiful soul beats out a beautiful face.ย

I’d rather be called kind than pretty.ย So ladies (and gents), it’s always fun to invest in how you look but never forget to invest in your attitude and personality. This post officially ends my beauty phase for now. I still have tons of beauty products to try but I’ll save those for another month!

To keep it short and simple: I'm twenty-seven years old. Still plenty young, but not as young as I used to be.
