Recipe: One Pot Garlic Parmesan Pasta

Recipes are back! Sorry it’s been a while. I’ve been keeping myself busy with the change of domain hence the transition of THE FOOD BLOG to KAT BLOGS. I am beyond ecstatic and this is my 26th birthday gift to myself! Quite pricey, I know. 😛 Without further introductions and random musings, here’s today’s special recipe. / / / / / Inspired by Damn Delicious’ One Pot Garlic Parmesan Pasta recipe here, I decided to make my own version. I skipped some of the ingredients used in her recipe and instead used food I had at the time I made this.

Recipe: Garlic Scampi Pasta

The Inspiration: Having eaten at Rack’s a lot of times, this dish is my ultimate favorite. Presenting to you, Rack’s Garlic Scampi Pasta. It is so good, I can eat it all by myself. 😛 For those, like me, who do not know what the word Scampi means – Scampi is a name for various culinary preparations of certain crustaceans, commonly Nephrops norvegicus (the Norway lobster, sometimes itself called “scampi” or “langoustine”), or a similar lobster such as Metanephrops, as well as shrimp or prawns. -Wikipedia Basically, its yuminess, and you know it. 😉 What you’ll need: Olive oil Garlic Butter Brocolli Spaghetti Noodles What you’ll do: Cook your pasta as required and set aside. In a pan, add in olive oil and butter. Add in garlic, shrimp and brocolli. Mix. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add in your noodles. Mix. Add in olive oil if a little dry. Recipe: Tuna Pesto Spaghetti

This recipe is my first attempt at cooking without a recipe or checking Pinterest out. This is also the first time I tried to cook pasta!! Yey for big steps! I had another can of tuna that I was planning to use for making Tuna Spread but I suddenly craved for some pesto and that’s when this dish was brought to life. LOL
